First and foremost, and we can't stress that enough, make sure that the native camera of your smartphone is clean, as well as the lens. A greasy/dirty lens can have an major impact on the quality of your photos!

➡️ Why is it important to have clean camera and lens?

Enter the photo shooting screen

  • You've created a tour

  • Make sure you are in the photo tab of the tour

  • Enter the capture screen by clicking on the camera icon at the bottom of the screen

Position your smartphone

Once you are in the shooting screen, turn your smartphone horizontal using the screw at the back of the nodal arm (T-shaped black support): slightly unscrew it, rotate your smartphone and screw it back up to lock it in position.

NB: shooting your pro photos in landscape orientation (horizontal) will bring more depth to your shots.

Capture modes to respect for high quality visuals

The app analyzes what you capture. When you click on "shoot", the app will take several brackets depending on your capture mode.

brackets are photos of the same scene under different exposures. Nodalview analyzes each of these photos and provides you with a perfectly exposed final photo.

Make sure you have selected the correct capture mode for qualitative photo:

  • Interior mode represented by an armchair inside a house that allow you to take 3 brackets.

  • Exterior mode represented by mountains with a sun that allows you to take up to 11 brackets

The levelling tool

On your shooting screen make sure you have green axes for a straight shot.

Green axes are a levelling tool that allows you to:

  • Frame right

  • Avoid diving and low diving (feeling of discomfort)

  • Give perspective

  • Gives beautiful vanishing lines
