Thanks to the creation of Teams, you can now collaborate more efficiently on all your properties.

🧐 ❓Click here to know why have we implemented that 🤓

It is possible that you used to have a single user account that you shared with several people. According to your feedback, this was not ideal for several reasons:

  • all users had access to administrator-only features;

  • you had to change your password as soon as someone stopped working in your agency and inform all users.

  • you could not know directly which property was created by which colleague, or who was using which phone (in case you had too many devices connected).

👂 We heard you and worked to offer you a solution for more flexibility: teams! 👥

1. Create a team

❗️To proceed with the creation of a team,
it is necessary to have the administrator role of your Nodalview account.

a. Make sure your coworkers have their own Nodalview account

First of all, each one of your users must have their individual account, linked to your Nodalview organization: no individual accounts, no teams!

b. Create a team from the "Teams" tab in "Organisation"

Go to your web platform. Click on Organization (left sidebar menu) and then on Teams. Click the New team button, choose a name depending on the way you work in your agency (e.g.: "Sales" or "Brussels-South") and a color, add the users to it by typing their name in the bar search and clicking Add. Close to save.

💡 Good to know

  • A user can only be part of one team at a time.

  • Once a user is assigned to a team, the properties he or she creates via the mobile app will automatically be assigned to his or her team and therefore visible to the other users belonging to it.

You used to share the same email address with several people so that everyone could access the content created by everyone else?

👉 Create a team and add all users to it! 🤓 This will give you the same way of working as before, with the advantage of being able to filter the view of your properties to show those created by a particular user (e.g. I filter my view to show only the assets I created from the mobile app; or I filter my view to show the assets created by my 2 colleagues on my team).

2. Manage the properties of your teams as an administrator

As an administrator, from the Teams tab (via Organisation), you can :

  • Assign a property to another team, by choosing another manager

From the Property tab on this page of your web platform, you can access all the properties in your organisation (all properties created by all users). Find the one that you want to assign to another team. Choose the new team and the new manager (who will be part of the new team).

  • Deleting a team

If you wish to delete a team, go to the Teams tab via Organisation. Find the team you want to delete, click on settings and then on Delete. Save to confirm.

3. Work on all the properties belonging to your team

When you belong to a team, you have access to your properties as well as those created by all members of your team.

  • Filter the view of your properties to display them more efficiently

On the main page of your web platform, you can use the filters to display the properties owned by one or more users in your team. The name of the owner of the property (the user who created it) will be displayed on the property.

This allows you to work on all your team's properties, therefore:
